Yaya, a proud graduate with a Bachelors in Radio Broadcasting from Columbia College Chicago, brings over a decade of experience to the broadcast community. Her journey into the world of radio ignited at the youthful age of 18, and since then, her fervor for the airwaves has flourished.
Venturing into the realm of podcasting, Yaya birthed the Whew Chile Chats with Cubana podcast, now known as Yaya Style and Chats, propelled by her desire to spotlight small-owned businesses within communities of color and tackle pertinent topics often overlooked. With an unwavering commitment, she has elevated her platform to champion these enterprises while fearlessly engaging in conversations surrounding issues prevalent in POC communities.
Recently, Yaya embarked on a new chapter in her career, transitioning into the realm of fashion and lifestyle content creation. Embracing her passion for style and culture, she brings a fresh perspective to the digital landscape, sharing insights and inspiration with her growing audience.
